2020 – THE REBUILD
Following the relaunch of Rocket City Records, LLC, James Logan (OG Pressure) began rebuilding the company from the ground up. During the first year, Rocket City Records signed three artists and focused on local showcases, independent concerts, artist development, and mentorship.
The organization also began collaborating with music educators and programs, including partnerships and projects connected to music instruction and artist development. By the end of the year, a fourth artist had been added to the roster while mentorship and community-focused music initiatives continued to expand.
2021 – EXPANSION & NATIONAL TOURING
Rocket City Records expanded its roster with additional artist signings while refining its artist development model.
During 2021, OG Pressure completed more than 46 over-the-road performances and appearances across multiple states while continuing artist mentorship and business development.
The company secured a distribution partnership with The Orchard, a Sony Music subsidiary, providing expanded opportunities for independent distribution and industry growth.
As the company evolved, difficult business decisions led to roster changes, resulting in the release of multiple artists while strengthening the long-term vision of the organization.
2022 – EDUCATION & INDUSTRY GROWTH
In 2022, Rocket City Records transitioned from The Orchard and entered a new distribution relationship through Republic Records Incorporated.
The company expanded beyond artist development by taking independent artists from the Huntsville music community on the road to compete and perform in regional markets throughout Georgia and Florida.
OG Pressure also released educational resources for independent artists, including:

• How To Build A Profitable Fanbase
These publications focused on helping artists understand branding, audience development, and long-term business strategies.
2023 – COMMUNITY IMPACT & MEDIA DEVELOPMENT
The focus expanded beyond music into community engagement, mentorship, and outreach.
Rocket City Records launched food drives, youth outreach initiatives, and back-to-school campaigns in Huntsville, Houston, and other communities.
The company returned to The Orchard while simultaneously pursuing larger business opportunities, successfully securing a bid connected to CEMA Distribution.
During this period, Rocket City Media and Rocket City Distribution were launched to support content creation, artist development, publishing, branding, and media services.
The multimedia album project “Trapped: The Story of Pressure” was also released, documenting themes of survival, trauma, healing, and transformation.
2024 – INTERNATIONAL REACH
In 2024, OG Pressure’s music and business ventures expanded internationally.
Through a unique crossover approach blending Country, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Pop influences, projects achieved chart success across multiple genres while reaching audiences throughout the United States and internationally.
Educational initiatives expanded through masterclasses and speaking engagements, including collaborations with educational institutions such as the University of Houston and Calhoun Community College.
Additional projects released during this period included:

• Trapped: The Story of Pressure (Documentary)
The company also expanded into business consulting, project development, and budget contracting opportunities.
2025 – CONSOLIDATION & LEGACY BUILDING
The organization entered a new phase of growth through larger venues, expanded partnerships, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.
Rocket City Records and affiliated ventures expanded into larger entertainment venues, including events connected to the Von Braun Center (VBC) and The Orion Amphitheater.
Strategic acquisitions included New Concorde, preserving a historic creative property associated with film and entertainment production history.
Additional ventures such as Live Wire Connect and The Vibe Music Awards expanded the organization’s reach across live entertainment, networking, artist recognition, and community engagement.
To support long-term sustainability and asset protection, Empire Capital Holdings was established as the parent holding company. Intellectual property assets associated with Rocket City Records, Rocket City Media, OG Pressure, and affiliated ventures were consolidated under the Empire Capital Holdings umbrella, creating a structure designed for long-term growth and succession planning.
ONGOING MISSION
Since 2020, James Logan has traveled extensively throughout the United States, building relationships through face-to-face meetings, mentorship opportunities, industry networking, educational initiatives, artist development, and community outreach.

2026 – THE PRESSURE FOUNDATION
After years of building through music, media, entrepreneurship, education, mentorship, and community outreach, James Logan officially launched The Pressure Foundation.
Created from lived experience, The Pressure Foundation was established to help youth and young adults facing adversity, trauma, foster care transitions, financial hardship, mental health challenges, and life instability.
The Foundation combines mentorship, virtual learning, financial literacy, music therapy, creative expression, community outreach, and life-skills education into one purpose-driven organization focused on turning pressure into purpose.
Programs launched through the Foundation include:

• Financial Literacy Education
• Resume Building and Career Readiness
• Mentorship and Leadership Development
• Music Therapy and Creative Healing Initiatives

The launch of The Pressure Foundation represents the culmination of years of work across multiple industries and communities. What began as personal survival evolved into a mission dedicated to helping others heal, grow, and build a future beyond their circumstances.
